This recipro saw from Makita is variable speed for precise cutting of a wide variety of materials. You'll zip right through 2x4s with this powerful motor and long (1-3/16-inch) stroke for faster cutting. This Makita is designed with ball and needle bearings for longer tool life, and it accepts standard 1/2-inch shank blades. It has an adjustable slide-out shoe for longer blade life. Invert the blade for near-flush cutting. Makita made this one light (just 6.4 pounds) for operator comfort. And, it's double insulated for rugged portability. As always, Makita designed this saw to have remarkably little vibration. Your purchase includes one blade, a hex wrench, and a sturdy plastic tool case.
